Durbin Crossing offers a variety of programs for residents throughout the year. The amenity centers and recreational fields are busy with yoga lessons, swim team practice and soccer games.

Basketball:
Join us to play basketball with your neighbors on Thursdays from 5-8 p.m. at the South Club basketball courts. A fun way to get some exercise!

Creekside High School Swim Team:
Creekside High School, an A-rated school located near Durbin Crossing, will host some fall practices at the Durbin Crossing South Club in the expansive pool area.

Fitness Training Class:
Do you have a fitness goal in mind? Reach it with the Fitness Training Class. For men and women at all fitness levels, enjoy a mixture of cardio, body weight exercises and free weights. Cost: $5. The Fitness Training Class is held Tuesday and Thursday at 6 a.m.

Tennis Lessons:
On Tuesday evenings, the First Coast Tennis Foundation offers clinics for children and adults. Classes for 3-8 year olds are $12; 8-12 year olds, $15; and adults, $15. Private lessons are also available. If interested or if you have any questions, contact Dick at rshawfrank@bellsouth.net.

Volleyball:
Join us for pick-up volleyball at the South Club from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesdays! Adults and high school age students are invited. Great way
to meet your neighbors and exercise – all while having fun!

Yoga:
Yoga is a great way to relieve stress in your everyday life while increasing flexibility and personal strength. Yoga classes are held on Wednesday at
the South Club Social Hall on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Cost: $10. Contact cherylsteven97@yahoo.com with questions.

Youth Soccer:
Youth soccer is offered in the spring and fall. An $70 fee includes jerseys, socks and trophy for the child. There are two  age brackets (U6, U8).

Swim Lessons:
Swim Lessons are held during the summer break for children aged two and up. Our instructors from Starfish Aquatics Institute will help your child get used to the water and learn how to master a stroke. Semi-private and private lessons are available in two-week sessions. Classes are held in the mornings, Monday-Thursday.

Other Programs

Ladies Hand-Works Night
Join us in the South Clubs Social Hall for Ladies Hand-Works Night. This is a great opportunity to build relationships for women who live here at Durbin Crossing. Catch up on those projects that have been piling up on you, whether it is crafting, couponing, blogging or another project, while catching up with your neighbors and making new friends.  Than Ladies Hand-Works Night will meet on the second Friday of each month from 6pm to 11pm. The cost is $10.00 and space is limited.

Babysitter’s Club:
Do you need a babysitter? Or, are you interested in babysitting in the neighborhood? Contact the South Club for the list of babysitters or to get
on the list.

Neighborhood Town Watch:
David Kirschbaum is in charge of the Neighborhood Town Watch program, which helps to cut down on potential neighborhood crime. If you are interested in learning more about the program or to get involved, email David at hmspms@comcast.net.
